Vox Populi Vox Dei
The Wagga Wagga Christian College as part of the Spring Festival of Drama and Music recently performed the original work “Vox Populi, Vox Dei”. This musical was written by the year 11 extension English students at the College and performed by Years 8-11 Drama and Music students. The title is Latin for: “Voice of the people, voice of God”. There are voices in the world around us – they clamour for attention and often distract us from the voice of God. Such voices are particularly a part of young people in the form of peer pressure.
The musical was attended by over 700 people across two nights and was a fantastic success. Many of the students grew in their gifts of music and drama and became more confident in themselves and in the gifts God has for them.
